By allowing our co-creators to shape the experiences we intentionally create one-of-a-kind, limited-edition experiences that are impossible to replicate.

Sima has over fifteen years of international leadership in luxury hospitality, wellness resorts and experiential travel.
Her work has spanned private game reserves, wellness destinations and multi-site luxury portfolios, guiding pre-openings, operational transformations and high-touch guest experiences across complex global environments. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in balance, combining strong operational systems with a deep understanding of human needs and cultural nuance.
Sima views wellness as an ecosystem, where thoughtful design, respectful service and intentional environments support presence, restoration and ease.
This same philosophy shapes Sereni Travel, where journeys are curated with care, clarity and integrity. Beyond operations, Sima is inspired by nature, stillness and mindful living practices, which continue to inform her calm, intuitive approach to leadership, experience design and conscious travel.
NEIL SMITH
[ DESIGN DIRECTOR ]
Neil is a Professional Architect who founded his architectural studio over a decade ago with its focus on designing and building award winning hospitality projects around the globe.
For Neil, design is a form of meditation and expression, where refined simplicity meets raw honesty, resulting in environments that invite stillness and quiet centering.
This same philosophy underpins Sereni Travel, where journeys are composed with the same care and sophistication as his architectural spaces.
Beyond his work, Neil draws inspiration from art galleries, sculpture gardens and quiet walks through the diverse natural landscapes surrounding Cape Town - practices that continue to inform his intuitive, grounded approach to design and leadership.
At Sereni Travel Studio, we support youth education in Southern Africa, giving hope to children and their families. By partnering with trusted foundations, we ensure your travels make a meaningful impact - every journey undertaken supports a child through a full year of education.
