This 10-night journey moves through four distinct South African landscapes: forest, ocean, grassland, and the Semi-Arid Karoo, following a slower, more deliberate pace of travel.
Created in collaboration with ceramic artist Jan Ernst, the experience is shaped by his way of working which begins with walking the landscape, gathering from nature, observing, and finally allowing the place to reveal itself over time.
This is not a journey built around volume or speed, but around depth - an intentional progression through landscapes that become increasingly quiet, open, and elemental. This is a journey that will allow our guests the opportunity to experience South Africa through a completely new lens.
This journey is about paying attention to land, to rhythm, and to the details often missed by the standard, sight-seeing style of travel.
A simple rhythm underpins each landscape visited:
arrive → observe → absorb → reflect
This shift in pace allows each environment to be experienced more fully, not as a stop along the way, but as something to spend time within and understand more profoundly.
There is no pressure to create or produce during the course of the journey - it is about quiet connection and reflection.
